Thank you Grim Jesta!

Few things are as fulfilling as knowing that what I create will be used by other gamers at their tables. So when Grim Jesta yoinked one of my NPCs and left a comment, I really felt that this blogging thing could work out. So as a thanks to Grim Jesta for being the first person to leave a comment at my blog, I created Grim Garibaldi Narrmeister to bring the grim jester into my campaign. Hope you enjoy the NPC, Grim!

  1. I thought I'd let you know that others are reading this (and enjoying it immensely!)even if they don't comment.

Perhaps you could open the blog to anonymous comments?
Having to register might discourage potential commentees.

Also, where are you getting the NPC pictures from?
    They're fantastic!

  2. Hi Ursca!

Thank you for your comment! I'll look into opening the blog up for anonymous comments, but I'm a bit wary of spam bots.

The portraits are pictures of old oil paintings by the masters of the past, like Breughel, Goya, Vermeer, Rembrandt and so on. Use google to track them down, and use them for your own NPCs. It adds a lot to the atmosphere of the session.

  3. Thanks Magnus.
I had tried looking for renaissance portraits, but I didn't have much luck. I didn't think to search the artist's by name.

They're all nice and Warhammery, especially the Hattie one.

Good luck with the rest of the blog.

  4. Another tip is to go to:

    Lots of great pictures there.
